Dental Crowns

Protect and Rebuild a Weakened Tooth

A cracked, heavily filled or root-treated tooth can break under normal chewing. A dental crown wraps the weakened tooth in a custom restoration shaped for strength, fit and appearance. We preserve sound structure, choose material by location and bite, and make cleaning at the margins straightforward.

Close a Tooth Gap with a Fixed, Custom-Made Replacement

A tooth gap can reduce chewing and let nearby teeth move. A dental bridge fills the space with fixed replacement teeth supported by strong neighbouring teeth or implants. We compare the effect on support teeth, cleaning, bite and future maintenance before recommending it over an implant or denture.

1+ TEETH

2 SUPPORTS

2-3 VISITS
Typical treatment range
  • Restores a visible or functional gap with a fixed solution.
  • Improves chewing contact and helps limit unwanted tooth movement.
  • Offers a non-removable alternative to a partial denture.
  • Can use natural teeth or implants according to the foundation.
  • Is designed with space for daily cleaning beneath the replacement tooth.

Replace Several or All Teeth with a Comfortable Removable Smile

Missing many teeth can affect eating, speech and facial support, while an old denture may become loose as the mouth changes. Modern partial, complete and digital dentures are planned around fit, bite and appearance. Trial stages and follow-up adjustments help the new smile feel more natural over time.

Coordinate Complex Dental Problems into One Rebuild

When many teeth are worn, broken, missing or heavily restored, isolated treatment can create more conflict. Full mouth rehabilitation combines every need into one master plan, stabilises disease first and tests the proposed bite before definitive work. The goal is confident function that remains cleanable and maintainable.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our patients ask most before their implant consultation.

A filling works when enough strong tooth remains to support it. A crown or onlay is considered when damage, cracks, a large existing restoration or root canal treatment leaves the tooth vulnerable to fracture. We preserve sound structure and choose coverage according to risk.

A bridge is fixed and uses neighbouring teeth or implants for support. An implant is independent but requires surgery and healing. A denture is removable and can replace several teeth economically. Bone, gums, adjacent teeth, health, cleaning, time and preferences guide the choice.

There is no guaranteed lifespan. Material, tooth strength, fit, decay risk, gum health, grinding, bite forces and cleaning all matter. Regular reviews can identify leakage, chipping or gum changes early. A night guard may be recommended when grinding threatens the restoration.

Digital dentures use scans or digital design for records, tooth arrangement and manufacturing. The workflow can improve reproducibility and preserve a design for future replacement, but fit still depends on the gums, jaw relationships, saliva, muscle control and careful clinical adjustments.

New dentures often feel bulky at first, and speech and chewing take practice. Sore spots need professional adjustment; do not alter the denture yourself. Start with softer foods, chew on both sides and attend the planned review visits.

It is a coordinated plan affecting most or all teeth and may combine onlays, crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, gum treatment or orthodontics. Disease control and test stages come before definitive work. The aim is comfortable function and maintainable restorations, not appearance alone.
