Reliable Control for Simple and Complex Tooth Movement
Metal Braces

Reliable Control for Simple and Complex Tooth Movement

Crowded or poorly aligned teeth can be difficult to clean and can make the bite feel unbalanced. Metal braces provide steady, precise control because they stay on the teeth throughout treatment. Modern low-profile brackets and planned adjustments make them a reliable choice for many ages and case types.

2 ARCHES
Upper and lower planned together
  • Treats a wide range of alignment and bite problems.
  • Provides continuous force without relying on tray wear time.
  • Allows detailed control of rotation, root position and bite.
  • Uses durable components for active lifestyles and younger patients.
  • Tracks progress at regular adjustment visits.

Clear Aligners

Straighten Suitable Smiles with Removable, Discreet Trays

If visible braces have stopped you from straightening your teeth, clear aligners may offer a more discreet route. Each custom tray applies a planned movement, while digital monitoring keeps the bite on track. Success depends on wearing them consistently and choosing a case aligners can treat predictably.

7-14 DAYS
Typical time per aligner
3D PLAN
Movement preview and staging
  • Offers a discreet appearance in everyday life and photographs.
  • Removes for meals, brushing and flossing.
  • Uses a digital sequence to plan movement before trays are made.
  • Supports progress tracking with scans and clinical checks.
  • Can include refinements when the planned movement needs adjustment.

Before After

Treatment Process
1
Confirm suitability

We assess tooth movement, bite, gum health, restorations and whether aligners can predictably meet the goal.

2
Create the 3D plan

Digital scans and photographs guide staged movements, attachments, elastics and the expected sequence.

3
Start the aligners

Your first trays are fitted and you learn wear, removal, cleaning and tracking checks.

4
Monitor and refine

Progress visits confirm tray fit and bite; a new scan is taken if movements need refinement.

5
Protect the result

When active movement ends, custom retainers are fitted with a long-term wear plan.

Interceptive Orthodontics

Guide Selected Bite and Growth Problems at the Right Time

Some crossbites, jaw-width problems or blocked eruption patterns are easier to manage while a child is growing. Interceptive orthodontics acts at that useful window with an expander, partial braces or another appliance. It is recommended only when early action offers a clear advantage.

AGE 7
Recommended first orthodontic check
6-18 MONTHS
Common active range
2 PHASES
Possible early and later treatment
  • Identifies developing bite problems before growth opportunities pass.
  • Can guide jaw width, eruption or a damaging crossbite in selected cases.
  • May simplify later treatment, though it does not always replace it.
  • Creates monitoring time when immediate treatment is unnecessary.
  • Gives parents clear milestones for growth, teeth and appliance care.

Before & After

Real results from patients who chose Interceptive Orthodontics at our clinic.

Before After

Treatment Process
1
Assess around age seven

We review eruption, jaw relationships, crossbites, crowding, habits and facial growth.

2
Decide whether to watch or act

Most children are monitored; treatment starts only when timing changes the likely outcome.

3
Select the appliance

. An expander, partial braces, functional appliance or space guidance is chosen for the specific objective.

4
Guide and monitor

Visits track growth, eruption, comfort, hygiene and whether the appliance is achieving its purpose.

5
Pause, retain or plan phase two

After the early goal is reached, we monitor development and explain any later comprehensive treatment.

Keep Straightened Teeth in Their New Position
Orthodontic Retainers

Keep Straightened Teeth in Their New Position

Teeth can drift after braces or aligners, even when treatment finished perfectly. Retainers protect that investment while the surrounding tissues adapt and as the mouth changes over time. We choose fixed, removable or combined retention and make the wear schedule easy to follow.

2 TYPES
Fixed and removable
1 CUSTOM FIT
Made from final tooth position
7 NIGHTS
Weekly wear when prescribed
1 LIFETIME
Teeth can keep shifting
  • Holds teeth in the position created by active treatment.
  • Reduces relapse while bone and soft tissues adapt.
  • Offers fixed, clear and wire options for different needs.
  • Can protect the result after braces or aligners.
  • Includes review, repair and replacement guidance.

The appliance is checked for full seating, comfortable edges and stable contacts.

4
Follow the wear plan

You receive a simple schedule plus cleaning, storage and food guidance.

5

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our patients ask most before their implant consultation.

No fixed age is too old when teeth, gums and bone support are healthy enough. Adult treatment may need coordination with gum, implant or restorative care. The type of movement, existing dental work and your ability to maintain hygiene guide the plan.

Both can work well when matched to the right problem. Aligners depend heavily on wear time and may be less predictable for some complex movements. Braces are fixed and can manage a broad range of bite problems. The diagnosis, not appearance alone, should choose the appliance.

Many comprehensive cases take around 12 to 24 months, but simple and complex plans fall outside that range. Growth, biology, missed appointments, broken appliances and aligner wear can change timing. We give an estimate after complete records and update it as treatment progresses.

Pressure or tenderness is common for a few days after braces are fitted or adjusted and when a new aligner starts. Sharp pain is not expected. Orthodontic wax, a softer diet and approved pain relief can help; contact us for a broken appliance, persistent ulcer or significant pain.

By about age 7, enough permanent teeth have usually erupted to assess jaw relationships, crossbites, crowding and eruption problems. Most children do not start treatment then. Early assessment creates time to monitor growth and intervene only when a developing problem can genuinely benefit.

Yes. Teeth naturally tend to shift after active movement and can continue changing through life. Retainers hold the corrected position while tissues adapt and afterwards. The type and wear schedule are personalised; long-term use is normally part of keeping the result.
